'Owing to a recent Goverment change on the technical requirements for PPE provision we are limited to supplying the general public at present, due to needing appropriate certification (CE Markings.) This will cost us in the region of £3000 - £5000 per maker (a total of £15000 - £25000), which we are unable to afford!
East Suffolk PPE are responding to the growing need for personal protection equipment (PPE) during the coronavirus pandemic by helping to produce and donate a small range of PPE to Emergency,Healthcare workers and Key workers across East Anglia. We are ensuring help gets to those places that are finding it difficult to get supplies such as Care Homes, individual Care workers and charities.
While they're treating patients and keeping wider society safe, our frontline healthcare staff are exposed to high viral loads of the COVID-19 infection, and have a higher chance of contracting a serious illness related to the virus.
